Write-On Stationery Offer

Duffield is offering the opportunity for parents to purchase school supplies through Write-On Stationery. This optional program is a convenient service that comes with the following benefits:

• Teacher-selected quality and quantity items
• Guaranteed quality and uniformity of supplies for all students
• Very competitive pricing that matches the best deals throughout the back-to-school season

You may place your order directly on the Write-On Stationery website with Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit or Interac Online. Once on the site, search for and select "Duffield School - ALBERTA", then choose your child's 2024-2025 grade from the menu that appears to begin your order.

Online orders must be submitted by June 1, 2024. You have the option to ship to your home for an extra shipping charge, or for free shipment to Duffield School. If you opt to ship to the school, kits will arrive at the school during the week of June 17.

PSD schools are committed to enhancing student learning through the BYOD Initiative. We hope to encourage an environment where each student has his or her own mobile device to use both at school and at home. The BYOD Initiative is entirely optional, and students are not required to bring their own devices to use at school.

Purchasing Devices

Parents and students can make their own decision as to which device to purchase for BYOD. We do recommend that all BYOD devices meet the following criteria:

• Internet connectivity (through Wi-Fi or other)
• 6 Hour Battery Life
• Ability to connect to Google Workspace For Education
• A Keyboard – integrated, Bluetooth or touch screen
• Word processing capability (more than 1 paragraph)
• Ability to integrate images, video and sound
