Welcome back students!

Good morning,

Welcome back to returning students and families and welcome to new students and families! This email contains a number of items, as we return to school on Tuesday September 2nd. I aim to send out a Weekly Update at the end of each week. This first message contains a number of important details and dates and is a little longer than the weekly messages!

The custodial team and office staff have been hard at work to ensure that everything is ready for students’ return to school. The school looks immaculate as teachers and support staff prepare classes for learning.

First Week of School

Tuesday September 2 the school re-opens for grade 1 through 9 students for the 2025-2026 school year. Staggered entry dates for Kindergarten students will be spaced apart. Your child starts on Wednesday, September 3rd  if your last name starts with A-M. On Friday, September 5th, N-Z begins. As a regular school day, students will be in classes from 7:40 to 2:30pm. For those taking the bus, pick up/drop off will be the regular time and location as indicated in communication from the Transportation department.

Bus Pass Pickup

If you registered for busing via PowerSchool by June 20, your bus pass will be delivered via Canada Post to your primary mailing address before the start of school. Families must make payment arrangements for any applicable transportation fees before they will receive a bus pass.

Staff Changes

I would like to welcome Ms. Tammie Sarauer (Vice-Principal), Ms. Mariah St. Germain (Counsellor), Ms. Mandy Mehling (Grade 7), and Ms. Liticia Webster (Grade 8/9 Math and Science).

School Council/FOELS

The first School Council/FOELS meeting will be Tuesday Sept 23rd.
